How long do they last?

With proper maintenance, our semi-permanent hair extensions can beautifully adorn your hair for over 12 months with 8 weekly adjustments. For those who wish for an even longer-lasting transformation, our permanent hair extensions maintain their quality for up to 12 months or even longer.

Are extensions safe?

Definitely! With proper application and care, our hair extensions are completely safe for your natural hair. They must be professionally installed to keep them looking fabulous.
We recommend using gentle, sulphate-free shampoos and conditioners. Avoid going to bed with wet hair, and use a soft-bristle brush to keep your extensions in top condition.

Do I need a consultation before I get them?

We recommend consulting with us first so we can understand your hair goals and create the perfect extension plan for you. Plus, it’s a great chance for you to ask any questions about the best colour and style for your extensions.

Do I need to maintain them often?

Every 4-6 weeks to ensure your extensions don't become visible and your hair stays healthy, and depending on the type, as some last up to 6 months plus

Can I colour them?

Accepted Answer

Do NOT bleach. The extensions are very porous, so we advise that you do a spot test first, as the colour will vary from batch to batch. You can use no more than 3% developer. Please note you will be doing this at your own risk.

You can wash and condition after 48 hours.

What products should I not use on my extensions?

Accepted Answer

Anything that contains keratin or protein, as this can tend to make the extensions dry & frizzy. Purple Shampoo and colour, can also tend to make the tape slip, due to the high protein. Anything oil based, should be used from the ears down to avoid slippage with Tape Extensions.

We recommend anything moisturising - such as Muk Ultra Soft Shampoo & Conditioner. They also have an amazing 1 minute miracle treatment that we love!

Why is Moroccan oil good for extensions?

It is a restorative treatment for damaged hair and skin. It helps maintains hair extensions also, giving shine and moisture to the hair. It does not contain red colourings – this means it will not discolour the lighter hair extension tones.

Question 9

How often do I need to brush and wash my extensions?

Accepted Answer

The more you wash your extensions, the more frequently you should be oiling them. Extensions are not attached to your scalp so they do not get the same oil that your hair produces naturally, so applying the Moroccan Oil daily will prevent them from drying out. If you find your extensions are getting knotty, it may be because they're lacking oil & moisture. Tangle teezers are highly recommended (hair brush)
